The Bingham has beautiful surroundings, green open spaces, great shopping and historic attractions. Not only does the River Thames run through the town centre, but the tow path leads you to Kew Gardens and Hampton Court Palace, as well as the miles of open space and wildlife in nearby Richmond Park.

Sport

Close to Rugby Football Union (RFU) stadium in Twickenham, Wimbledon Tennis, and London's Ham Polo club. Golf and horse riding is available locally or you could explore the area on one of the Bingham’s Pashley bikes. Pleasure boats and private boat charter is available nearby and passenger boats go to Hampton Court, Kew Gardens and Central London from April-October.

Historic Houses & Royal Parks And Gardens

Richmond upon Thames has been a royal retreat for centuries and is home to Ham House, Hampton Court Palace, Kew Palace, Marble Hill House, Strawberry Hill House and Syon Park. Richmond Park, is the largest Royal Park in London and is a National Nature reserve. Also nearby are the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, London Wetland Centre and Bushy Park.

Entertainment

Richmond Theatre stages pre and post West End productions and the Orange Tree is a contemporary theatre, staging its own productions and featuring new playwrights.

Shopping

Richmond Town Centre, Richmond Hill and the lanes off the Green, are all 5 minutes walk away. They offer a range of boutiques and specialist shops for fashion, jewellery, food, design, interiors, furniture and art.
